Obituary for James W. Fitzgerald Jr.

James W. Fitzgerald Jr. (Jay Jay) 44, passed away July 3, 2016 from a short illness. He was born March 21, 1972, the son of James Sr. and Vivian Fitzgerald . He attended St Mary’s Elementary School and graduated from Macomber High School in 1990, where he studied heating and air conditioning.

He was an avid sports fan with Michigan as his favorite team and cheered for this team win or lose. He held several jobs around the Toledo area during his short life time with the last being a former employee of Libbey Glass.

Jay Jay leaves to cherish is memory his parents James Sr. and Vivian of Toledo, OH; daughter Na’Reze Washington of Toledo, OH, son, Ja’Keith Darringrton of Toledo, OH; brothers Adrian (Kendall) Fitzgerald of Toledo, OH and Terrance (Keesha) Fitzgerald of Toledo, OH, two grandsons Dylan, Matthew and granddaughter Ryleigha. He is also leaves his special friend, Diane Strong of Toledo, OH and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by the House of Day Funeral Home in Toledo, OH. Calling hours will be Saturday from 2-3 p.m. The funeral will be held on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at Worship Center Church, 2204 Collingwood, Toledo, OH 43620.
