Valada Annette Jones, 82, of Toledo, OH entered into eternal rest on March 14, 2017. She was born to the late Sammy and Velma Jones on January 4, 1935 in Meridian, MS.

Valada accepted Christ at an early age and she loved the Lord. She was employed at General Motors Corp. for 21 years retiring in 1991. Valada was a longtime member of the Eastern Division Elks. In 1995 she was appointed Lieutenant Colonel Eastern Division Toledo Military #1607 I.B.P.O. Elks of the World. After retirement she enjoyed traveling, especially to different casinos with her sister, Thelma. Valada was also an avid shopper who could always find the best deals. Valada was always willing to extend her hand to help those in need. She considered no one a stranger, everyone is family.

Valada was preceded in death by her beautiful daughter, Constance Lincoln, siblings Sammy Jones Jr., and Thelma Victorian, and her great-granddaughter Ahjzanae Triplett.

Her memory will be cherished by her husband of 51 years Gerald R. Jones, children Martin (Barbara) Tucker, Milton (Joyce) Tucker and Anthony (Rhonda) Abbott; 25 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild; 3 brothers, Bobby Jones, Billy (Judy) Jones, and Dale (Sarah) Jones along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Also a very special friend Ms Donna.

Valada will be missed by all that knew and loved her but we will find peace in knowing that she is sitting at the right hand of our Lord, relaxing in his glory without any worries.
