Deatrice Yvonne  Chambers
Deatrice Chambers, affectionately known as "Dee Dee", was born February 11, 1950 in Toledo, Ohio to Erna Mae Rose and Henry Smith. She departed this life, December 18, 2016 at Spring Meadows Senior Community Center. She attended Toledo Public schools where she graduated from Jesup W. Scott High School. She then met and married Lovell Spearman and from this union came 1 child, Demetrice Spearman, her husband later passed away.

She was employed with Chrysler Jeep for many years until her retirement. Later she met and married Ronald Chambers on October 29, 2004. Deatrice accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of Macedonia Baptist Church, where she served faithfully as a choir member. Deatrice also was a member of the NA group where she was clean for 13 years.

“Dee Dee” was preceded in death by both parents, Erna Mae and Henry; daughter, Carlota Hughes; brothers, Porter King, Jr., Randy Wade and Ronnie Smith.

She leaves to cherish her memory, husband, Ronald Chambers; daughter, Demetrice; son, Smokey; grandson, Antonio Gaston; 6 great grands; 6 sisters, Trina, Carla, Marilyn, Sandra, Debra, and Michelle, all of Toledo; brothers, Eric & Keith; special friends, Lisa C., Marie and Kevin B., Michelle D., and Venisha; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and NA family and also loving church family.
