Mr. Earnest Warner Jr. departed this life on Thursday February 16, 2017 at his residence with his family by his side at the age of 78. Earnest was born in Ruleville Mississippi on January 9, 1939 to Remill Collins and Earnest Warner Sr. He was raised by his loving aunt and uncle Ida Bell and Coranza Beal.

Earnest accepted Christ at an early age and he loved the Lord. He served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1965. He was employed by the Dana Spicer Corporation for 30 years and he retired in June 1995.

On March 24, 1964 he was united in holy matrimony to Evelyn Marie Johnson. To this union three children were born. Earnest loved to travel and cruise with his wife occasionally golfing together. He loved to care for his lawn and home. Earnest always had a nugget of wisdom for anyone he met. He was ready and willing to help anyone. He adored his grandchildren and they were the apple of his eye. Earnest enjoyed bowling and belonged to the Belmont Sportsmen Club.
He was an avid golfer and especially enjoyed golfing trips with his brother-in-law Lester Johnson to many locales including Arizona, Myrtle Beach and Las Vegas.

He was preceded in death by his sons, Earnest Kevin Warner and Edwin Kyle Warner. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 53 years Evelyn Marie, daughter Erika (Jeffrey) Ragland, grandson/son Kevin Jamaal Warner, grandsons, Edwin Kyle Warner Jr, Kristopher Kevin Warner, Jalen D. Lindsey, and Curtis Smith, sister, Sandra (Will) Leslie, brothers, Louis Warner, Lloyd Warner, James Warner, and Jerry Warner; brother-in-law, Lester (Mary) Johnson, sisters-in-law Ruby Oliver and Paulette Johnson, daughters-in-law, Karen Warner, Silvia Gary, and Natalie Warner and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and other loving relatives and kind friends.
