Obituary for Ellen H. Gamble (Hunter)
Ellen H. Gamble born September 1, 1922 in Scott, Arkansas. Ellen transitioned from earth to heaven on March 4, 2017 at the Franciscan Care Center, Sylvania, Ohio surrounded by her children.
Ellen accepted Christ at an early age and joined Phillips Temple C.M.E. Church after moving to Toledo with her late husband Ezell Gamble. Ellen joined Christ Congregational M.B.Church under the late Elder David Terrell. She was a faithful member under the leadership of Pastor Barringer.
Ellen was educator and retired in 1997, from EOPA Toledo Head Start after teaching thirty plus years.
Ellen leaves to cherish her memory; Son: Patrick Gamble, Sr. (Constance); Daughters: Ellen Delois Gamble and Glenda Gamble Brown. Brothers: Percy Hunter (Wylie, TX) and James Hunter (Little Rock, Arkansas). Grandchildren: Makiya Gamble, Patrick Gamble, Jr. (Currecia), Preston Brown, Candace Brown and Whitney Gamble. Great Grandchildren: Jhazi Gamble, Kearra Baghley, Katera Gamble, Israel Fergusen. Eli James Temple. Special Daughters: Bernetta Boyd (Leslie) and Diann Revels, Sherryl Winston (Bill). Special Friend: Daisy McElevene.

Saturday, March 11, 2017-Wake 10:00 a.m. Funeral 11:00 a.m. at Southern M.B. Church.
Officating Pastor Johnny L. Barringer.
