Obituary for LaDon Carter
LaDon Carter, 73 went to be with the Lord on June 4th. LaDon was born in Marianna, Arkansas on July 25, 1943. He moved to Toledo and went to Spencer Sharples schools from elementary through high school. He confessed Christ as his personal savior at an early age at Mt. Olive Baptist Church under his father's tutelage.
LaDon's hobbies included a love of fishing, playing cards, shooting pool and home remodeling. He was a proud UAW member at Chrysler Motor Co., for thirty-three years.
Preceding him in death were his parents, John H & MayBell (Rash) Carter, brothers, Coy (Madeline) Carter, Ernie B. and Lester Carter; sisters Bertha Shackleford, Alberta Rogers, and Shirley (Robert) Stovall; finally his loving wife of forty-five years, Carrie Marie, and a host of friends and family.
He leaves to cherish his memory two sons, LaVon and Mark, five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, brother Alvon Carter of St. Cloud, MN and sister Marzella Howard of Jonesboro, AR. Also his best, best friends Robert Taylor.
