Obituary for Shellton Martell Hicks

Shellton M. D. Hicks, also known as “Rambo”, went home to be with his grandmother, (R. Bell), auntie (Angela Hicks) and the lord on Sunday, June 11, 2017. Shellton was surrounded by his loved ones at St. Vincent Hospital here in Toledo, OH. Shellton, was born on July 1, 2000 to Fredlisha Hughes and Shellton Hicks both of Toledo. He was the first child and the oldest of three brothers where he really was a big brother figure to his youngest brothers.

Shellton (Rambo) attended Woodward High School and would have been returning as a junior in the fall with much anticipation to graduate in 2019.

Shellton was really looking forward to celebrating his 17th birthday on July 1, 2017 with his family because plans were being finalized to celebrate his big day. These plans included going to the Kalahari Resort Waterpark and to the Taste of Chicago Food Festival because he oh so wanted to listen to the live music which he was so found of.

Shellton (Rambo) enjoyed making people smile and laugh. He also enjoyed playing his Play Station 4, basketball, and listening to music. He loved his San Antonio Spurs and the Dallas Cowboys. He was a lazy but loveable son.

Shellton M. D. Hicks (Rambo) leaves to cherish his memories; mother Fredlisha Hughes (Rob), father Shellton Hicks, Sr., and brothers: Shamur Hughes, Shamonti Hughes, Macarius Hicks and his bro Kevondre Walton. Grandmothers, Darletta B. Richardson (aka as Nana) and Susie (Tom Smith) Hicks, grandfathers Freddy L. Hughes and June S. Hicks. Special friend Alexes and a host of family and friends too numerous to name all of you.
