Betty Jean (Gott) Southall, 80 , went home to be with the Lord on August 10, 2017.

She worked as a Teacher's Aide, for Chase School, The Holiday Inn, and later attended Stautzenberger College School of Nursing. Other than her great love for BINGO, there was none greater than her lover for her family.

She leaves to cherish her memory, 6 children, Paula Watson, Cheryl L. Gott, Teresa Gott (Morris), Rodney C. (Tina) Gott, Ray A. Gott and Shelly Gott; sisters, Earnestine Brown, Brenda Johnson, Hazel Caldwell, Belinda Caldwell; brothers, Albert Johnson and Michael Caldwell, 26 grandchildren and 61 great grandchildren.

Thank you to the beautiful women of Hospice for all the compassion and tender care shown to our loved one during our time of need.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 from 7 - 9:00 pm, at The House of Day Funeral Service.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2017, at 11:00 am, preceded by a 10:00 am Wake, at Greater St. Mary's Missionary Baptist Church, 416 Belmont St., Pastor Robert Lyons, Sr., officiating.
