Obituary for Jessie Lee Waters

Mother Jessie Lee Waters was born on August 28, 1930 in Shiloh, Georgia. She went home to be with Lord on Saturday, August 12, 2017. She moved to Birmingham, AL at the age of five and attended Parker High School, graduating in 1948 and then moved to Ohio in 1956. Jessie married the late Walter H. Waters and to this union seven children were born.
She was employed with the Toledo Mental Health Center, retiring in 1990. Mother Waters confessed Jesus Christ as her personal Savior at a very early age. She was faithful and a dedicated member of The Armory,( formerly St. James Holiness Church)under the leadership of the late Bishop Williams James and now Dr. William James.
Jessie Loved to read and watch her favorite TV shows, she also enjoyed sitting on the front porch in her chair while entertaining friends and family and she loved her dog…
Jessie was preceded in death by her mother (Lucille), brother, Tommy G. Owens, and son Walter (Bubba) Waters Jr.
She leaves to share her memories, her son, Ronald, daughters, Sheila Lewis, Renita (Terrance) Fletcher, Evelyn, Zomalinda (Orlando), LaCarmen and Dionne,sister, Dorothy Cleveland, NY, New York; special nephew, Reginald smith, daughter-in-law, Mary Gail; special cousin, Virginia Marshall, 11 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
