Obituary for Gail M. Purdie (McCrimmon)

Gail M. Purdie (McCrimmon), 69, died December 12, 2017. She was born, July 18, 1948 to Curtis and Catherine Harris McCrimmon in Wilson, NC. She graduated from C. H. Darden High School in Wilson and N. Carolina A & T State University. Gail was formerly employed with Aetna Health Insurance and recently retired from ABLE LAWO on August 31, 2017. She was a member of Glass City Church of Christ since 1983. She was preceded in death by her parents and former husband Aaron C. Purdie, Sr. Surviving are her devoted sons: Aaron C. Purdie II (Amy) and Algernon C. Purdie; brother, Ronald McCrimmon; grandsons: Isaiah Kincaide and Avery Purdie; sister in law, Sandra Purdie; special nieces: Francine, Karen, Teresa & Nina; many loving cousins & family members , a host of Darden High classmates & friends. Funeral, Saturday 11am at Glass City Church of Christ, Family Hour preceding at 10am. Burial in Wilson, NC.
