Obituary for Marshall Coleman
Minister Marshall Lee Coleman, age 52, was born on September 30th 1965 in Cleveland, Mississippi to the parents of Robert Coleman and Hattie M. Ross.
He relocated to Toledo, Ohio at a very early age and attended Toledo Public Schools, graduating from Scott High School in 1983. "Once a Bull Dog, Always a Bull Dog! He was employed at Yark Automotive as a detailer and because of major medical concerns, had to retire early from the work force. He confessed his hope in Christ, was baptized and became a member of The Tru Light Cathedral Church under the leadership Bishop Greg Early and Pastor Sheila Early. He was active in the church. Marshall was called into the ministry and was ordained on May 18th 2015 by Pastor Early.
Marshall loved spending time with family and friends. He was a lovable, kindhearted person with a big smile. He loved his grandchildren and his Dallas Cowboys.
Marshall made his transition into eternal life to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 27th 2017 at St. Vincent Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by brother, Paul McNeal Jr; grandparents, George and Willie Mae Johnson; six uncles; one aunt;; and stepfather, Charlie Williams.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory, son, Shawn McFerren; loving mother, Hattie Williams; brothers, John (Vicky) Ross, Rodney Ross; uncle, P.L. Johnson of Louisville, Miss.; Aunts, Georgia Washington of Greenville, Miss., Essie Warfield of Chicago, Ill., Willette (Billy) Hill of Toledo, Oh., and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, many other family members and friends, along with his church family.
