The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Marilyn Gandy can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolences

Condolence From: Steffani GreenLeaf
Condolence: Marilyn discipled me briefly at Ann Arbor's Maranatha when I was a confused new Christian. She was a ray of sunshine for everyone. She shared Isaiah 40:31 to encourage me to hope in God and get my strength from Him when I was struggling. I often reflected on that word as I traveled through life. I learned that the Hebrew means to exchange our strength for God's strength when we wait on Him. I also recall a prophecy someone gave her: As you pray for the needs of others, your needs will be met. The Lord was very pleased with her selfless giving. She was a real treasure.

Condolence: Wished I could have come to the memorial. Marilyn was a sweet Godly women who touched many lives. She stood for God's righteousness and truth, but loved fiercely at the same time. I knew her from Cornerstone and her family was from Toledo as mine was too. My mom and her mom became friends and kept up in care and prayer for their daughters. She will be missed!

Condolence From: Reuben and Kathleen Rubio and family
Condolence: We knew Marilyn from Cornerstone in Ann Arbor in the 90s, sang with her on worship team, and enjoyed life and even some bowling. She loved the Lord and was such an encouragement and woman of prayer and faith. I thank God for the years when we were in church with her, and I always associate her with Isaiah 41:10-13. God's blessing and comfort to her family.
