Obituary for De'Shawn Fontae Gott

De'Shawn Fontae Gott
De'Shawn Fontae Gott was born to DeAngelo and Danyelle Gott on January 4, 1997. De'Shawn went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at the early age of "21", in the presence of his big brother, Deonte Gott.
De'Shawn was so happy to finally be allowed to go to the casino where he played in the "High Rollers" Black Jack. De'Shawn was an aspiring rap artist that wrote his own music using metaphors that were astounding. On De'Shawn's 21st birthday he went to get his chain out and recorded his video, "Black Jack 21", that has gone viral on Youtube.
De'Shawn accepted the Lord at an early age and was a member of Greater St. Mary's Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Robert W. Lyons Sr.
De'Shawn deeply loved his son. He referred to him as his best friend. He was so excited about being a father. He also encouraged his little brother and his friends to be the best that they could be. His presence, his corny jokes and great sense of humor will be missed by many. He will forever be remembered for his slogans ATM " All Trap Money" and "Secure DA BAG".
Preceding him in death are great-great grandmothers, Josephine Jonson; great grandfather, Jessie Brown, great grandmothers, Betty Southall, Hattie O'Neil and Maggie Parker; grandfathers, Danny Merriweather Sr. and Daryl Foster; uncles, Roderick O'Neil, Robert Lee and Kent Foster; cousin, Kimberly Brown; friends, Jerry "Twin" McNeal, Travon Bang Bradley and Desmont D-Bands Kendall.
He leaves to cherish his life, Mother, Danyelle; Father, DeAngelo (Antanette); Great Grandmother, Esther Brown; Grandfather, Jessie (Louise) Lumpkin; Grandmothers, Paula Watson and Frances Merriweather.
