Xzavier Austin Matthews
Xzavier Austin Matthews
November 9, 1991 - April 30, 2018

Xzavier was born on November 9, 1991 in Toledo, Ohio to Jesse and Heather Matthews III. He went home to be with the Lord on April 30, 2018. At an early age Xzavier was saved and baptized, he attended Bethlehem Baptist Church and was involved in church youth activities. Xzavier was active in school sports (football and basketball), he was very intelligent and a wiz in mathematics. He was creative and loved rebuilding bicycles, mini bike motors and computers. He enjoyed playing video games, he always had amazing card tricks and told great jokes. He was very close and protective of his sister Jessika and he adored his niece Charlie. On July 15, 2013, Xzavier married Caitlynne Tackett and they have two children; Elijahu and Ejypt, that Xzavier loved very much. He touched so many people’s lives and if you met him he left a lasting impression. Xzavier was wise beyond his years and spent his time mentoring and uplifting others. He was always a motivation to others, staying positive even in trying circumstances. He cared deeply about others and he was very kind and generous, and if you needed the shirt off his back, he would not have thought twice about giving it to you. Xzavier was loved and will be truly missed.
