Mr. Tommy L. Woods, Sr., 74, of Toledo, Ohio passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 5, 2018. He was born September 29, 1943 to the union of Mr. and Mrs. C.D. and Joe Florence Woods in Ruleville, Mississippi. Both parents preceded him in death, as well as brothers, Raymond, Frank, Lord, and Roosevelt.

Tommy spent his early years in Mississippi before the Woods family relocated to Toledo, Ohio in 1958. Tommy found Christ early in life, under the guidance of his parents. Tommy attended and graduated from Scott High School with the class of 1962. Tommy had many hobbies from playing sports, race car driving and carpentry.

In 1966 Tommy married his loving and loyal wife, Lonia, and from their union two children, Shonia (Arnold) Brooks and Tommie L. Woods, Jr., were born. Tommy loved to travel with the family, taking countless trips, vacations and site-seeing destinations. From coaching, giving tips on gardening, photography and life in general, Tommy will be missed.

He leaves plenty of memories with his wife, children, siblings, James Woods, Charles Woods, Willie (Magdeline) Woods, Melvin (Louise) Woods, Eugene (Amanda) Woods, Jacqueline Bell, and Milton Woods; grandchildren, Brianna, Cameron, Mekai, and Kiy'Sean, along with special friend, Carmen Sanders, and a host of nieces, nephews and relatives.
