On October 29, 1989, Sadari Denise Knighten was the fourth child born to the union of Rev. Willie L. and Lavern Knighten. Senseless violence took her from this life and her loving family and friends on June 5, 2018.

"Dari" as she was known by family and friends, was quick with a joke, smile and a helping hand. Born and raised in Toledo, Ohio, she loved and was loved by many. Sadari was a devoted daughter who also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Dari had a beautiful voice and was once a member of her church choir.

Hardworking and dedicated, Dari always made her way up to the level of supervisor or manager, earning the respect and admiration of her supervisors and co-workers.

Sadari was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Deacon Willie and Mother Bessie Spears, as well as maternal grandparents, Ardell and Lula Jordan; special friends, Samantha Osley, Charlie Moore and Efia Kynard.

Cherishing her memory are her parents, Rev. Willie L. and Lavern Knighten; brothers, Willie Jr. (Kim) and Jason; sister, Tonya (Dennis) Miller; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
