Joseph Andrew Phelps II ,45 made his peaceful transition into eternal rest on Wednesday, June 13,2018.

Joseph "Joey" was born on November 7, 1972 to Joseph Phelps I and Christine Kynard Phelps in Toledo Ohio. He graduated for E.L. Bowsher High School in 1991, after graduation Joe went on to work at Krogers as a bagger and in produce, for Washington Local Schools as a custodian and at several restaurants around Toledo.

Joe loved to spend his time listening to music , reminiscing about the past and sharing his good nature attitude and advice with his family and friends, but more than anything he loved the Dallas Cowboys, if you went to see Joe on any day especially Sunday he would be sitting in his chair with the remote watching a past or current game shouting " how he miss that ball!!" or "Touchdown!!!" Then he would tell you "now lets rewind that so we can watch it again."

During Joe's lifetime he had two beautiful women that he fell in love with, the first was April Pope with her he had two sons. The second his life partner until his death Brenda Burroughs with her he had four daughters.

Surviving is his soulmate, Brenda Burroughs; children, Joseph III, Jalen, Calina, Christina,
Johna and Jayma Phelps; father, Joseph Phelps I; bothers, Shawn Phelps and
Phillip R. Williamson; sisters, Rolanda Phelps, Teresa Hinton, Brenda Moore, Bridgette Johnson and Shalonda Kynard; 7 grand-children and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and devoted friends.

He is proceded in death by his mother, Christine Kynard and grand parents, Dock Calloway and Drucilla Calloway and Lincoln Kynard Sr. and Ophelia Kynard.
