Obituary for Nancy Teresa Barry

Our loved one Nancy T. Barry has made the ultimate transition at Hospice of Northwest OH on July 12, 2018. Nancy was born April, 8 1943 in Toledo, Ohio to Abner and Martha Landry.
Nancy attended St Benedict's and Robinson Jr. High School. She graduated from Jesup W. Scott High School.

Growing up Nancy attended St. Martin DePorres (St. Anns) where she later became a Lector. In the 70’s Nancy coached Volleyball for St. Anns Junior high team where her daughter Laura was on. Nancy retired from Chrysler Machining in Perrysburg with 31 years of service. After retirement, Nancy later worked for Toledo Public Schools as a substitute Paraprofessional.

Nancy was a devoted granny. She often volunteered at her grandson Kelvin's school and loved supporting little Joey and Jay at any event or sports they where in. Nancy loved planting flowers in her yard. Her yard was something she enjoyed doing. She loved watching the Soaps on Channel 11 and playing the Ohio Lottery where she won over ninety thousand dollars.

Nancy was preceded in death by her father, Abner Landry; mother, Martha Landry; and brothers, Abner and Hayward Landry.

She leaves to cherish her memory: son, Joseph A Landry and daughter, Laura J. Barry Lawrence; grandsons, Joseph Landry, Jestin Landry, Kelvin Lawrence II and DeShaun Roddy; sisters, Carol Jackson, Mary Hughes, and Connie (Anthony)Draper; Aunt Mary R. Hagler (Detroit); god daughters, Antoinette Draper and Rogina McGee; special friend, Barbara (Rodger) McGee and a host of nieces, nephews and family.
