Print
Katie Mae Williams was born in Yazoo, MS in 1925 to Ida Bryant and George Coleman. She was the oldest of four children. Katie moved to Toledo, OH in 2008 from Flint, MI to be with her sister Ida Hardy. Katie was loving, caring, outgoing, outspoken, and most certainly a diva. She loved arts and crafts, crosswords and a good game of cards. She liked the color Purple. She loved it! Anyone that came in contact with her, indoubtly fell in love with her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ida Bryant and George Coleman; brothers George Coleman and Martin Young, niece Bernadine Hardy; and great niece Jodi Hardy; brother-in-law, John Hardy. She leaves to cherish her memory Ida Hardy and a host of nieces and nephews.
