Obituary for Juanita Daniels

Juanita Rosetta Daniels of Toledo, Ohio was born July 26, 1931 to the union of Mattie Wilson and Horace Bailey Sr.

Juanita is preceded in death by her parents Mattie Wilson and Horace Bailey Sr.; husband Fredrick Daniels Jr.; sons Herman Tucker, Fredrick Daniels III; daughters Andrea (Dini) Daniels and Diane Bodden; granddaughter Tina Marie Edwards; and grandson Fredrick (Little Fred) Daniels IV. She leaves a surviving sister Dorothy Wilson; and life companion Harold Strauss.

She passed away peacefully March 18, 2019 at Pine Point Hospice Center in Macon, GA surrounded by family.

Juanita met and married Fredrick (Big Fred) Daniels Jr. on August 20, 1950 and recommitted to the union on December 29, 1990. From that union came eight boys and four girls. Always the perpetual mother, she was a mom not only to her children but to neighborhood children as well. She was always trying to instill strength and God's teachings to all. She was also involved in rearing a few of her grandchildren. She loved cooking and having family around. In visiting mom, we would always find her listening to some type of ministry on television. Unable to physically get out to attend a service, she would get her peace, praise and worship through TV or having prayer over the phone with one of her many prayer partners.

After the death of her husband Fredrick Daniels Jr. on September 7, 1994 she met her companion Harold Strauss and had a commitment Ceremony in June of 2006. Ever growing her family she became mom to and was loved by his two children Steven Strauss and Susan Keating

She leaves to cherish her loving memory Beverly (Herman) Tucker, Charlotte (Fredrick IV) Daniels, Reginald (Joanne) Daniels, Darryl Daniels, Susan (Mark) Peek, Rochelle (Dexter) Ogbourne, Phillip (Kim) Daniels, Vernon Daniels, Elgin (Alison) Clemons, Marvin Daniels; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, family and friends.
