Obituary for Vyda Louise Adams (Alexander)

Vyda Louise Adams, 88, passed away peacefully, July 8, 2014, surrounded by her family. Vyda was born n April 9, 1926, in Moscow, Kentucky, from the union of Prince and Mildred Alexander. Vyda had five siblings that preceded her in death. Vyda met and fell in love with and married Milleage Adams, (who preceded her in death). To this union, five children were born, Vivian, Kay Francis (deceased), Ronald, Donald and Milleage, Jr. Vyda worked for a period of time for Tri-State Pattern and Mancy's Restaurant. She became a member of Harmony Baptist Church. Vyda enjoyed life. She enjoyed having friends and relatives over to her home for entertaining. She loved giving advice and she believed in speaking her mind. Whatever Vyda had to do, you could be sure it would get done. She leaves to cherish her 4 children, Vivian Adams, Ronald Adams, Donald Adams and Milleage Adams, Jr.; 13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 11 great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2014, from 4:00-6:00 pm at the House of Day Funeral Service. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2014, at 11:00 am, preceded by a 10:00 am Wake, at the House of Day Funeral Services, Forest Cemetery.
