Michael Gary was born October 25, 1959 in Toledo, Ohio to the union of Frank Sr. and Margaret Jackson-Gary. Michael peacefully transitioned to heaven on June 28, 2017 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio.He accepted Christ at an early age and Michael rededicated his life to Christ at Friendship Baptist Church under the leadership of Bishop Duane C. Tisdale. Michael attended Toledo Public Schools and graduated from Jesup W. Scott High School in June 1977. He worked for the City of Toledo, Sewer Division for 30 years, retiring in October 2016. He was joined in Holy Matrimony to Brenda on March 27, 1997.

Michael was a quiet, kind and caring man who loved his family. If you had the pleasure of meeting him, you would know how funny and outgoing he was. Michael enjoyed sports and spending time with his family, especially watching those Ohio State Buckeyes and Denver Broncos. Michael was preceded in death by his parents; his brother Reginald Gary and sister Danice Mills.

Michael leaves to cherish his memory, his devoted and loving wife of 20 years, Brenda; his daughter, Teela Gary; step-children, Sylvia Harris and Steve Robinson, Jr.; 10 grandchildren; three brothers, Frank Gary, Jr., Ronnie (Andrea) Gary and Bryen Witcher, Sr. ; three sisters, Teresa Gary, Michelle Gary; and Danielle Witcher; aunt, Bertha Mae Gary; special cousin, Gracie Brown and a host of nieces, nephews loving relatives and friends. Michael will be solely missed by all who knew him.
