Obituary for Brenda Jean Jackson (Cattladge)

Brenda Jean Cattladge Jackson of Hammond Louisiana was born on June 27, 1956 to the union of Charlena McClendon and Robert Cattladge. She moved to Ohio at an early age. She was a devoted Christian and mother of three wonderful children, Derrick, Alisha and Darryl Jackson Jr. She graduated from Libbey in 1976 as a Beauty Queen and that was truly a gift. Brenda was blessed with many talents and was a Jack of all trades. Her most important gift she instilled was taking care of people. She was truly a angel to many and a blessing to all. A devoted Christian, she loved church and served as a Nurse's Aide and also was a member of the Love Circle. She sang in the St. Paul Mass Choir and also worked in the kitchen. She was very active in the church vocational Bible School. She loved her church and her pastor Willis. She was a long term church member.

She is preceded in death by father, Robert Lee Cattladge Sr.; Siblings, Robert Lee Cattladge Jr., Angela Denise McClendon, Hulus McClendon III.
She leaves to cherish her memory mother, Charlena Deloris McClendon; children, Derrick Jackson, Alisha (Terrance) Taylor, Darryl Jackson; sisters Deldra Cattladge (Earl) Andrews, Lanell Robinson (David) Thompson, Irene Robinson ( Eddie) Wells, Theressa (Joes) Grier McClendon, Julie McClendon (Reginald) Humes, Lola McClendon (Anthony) Plowden; brothers, Johnny (Wanda) Cattladge, Michael Anthony Robinson, Jamie ( Andrea) McClendon, Russel ( Kishna) McClendon.
