Bessie Pearl (Croft) Woodson, 89 , passed away Thursday, November 9th, 2017 at Promedica Ebeid Hospice at Flower Hospital. Bessie was born to Will and Junnie (Love) Croft in Chunky, Mississippi. She worked at Golden Lilly downtown Toledo and as a Surgical Technician at Mercy Hospital for over 30 yrs.. She loved to fish and was known for her excellent cooking.

She was preceded in death by her mother, father, stepfather J.C. Smith; children, WIlliam, James "Jimmy", and Angela Woodson; brothers, John Otis Croft, Clarence Smith; sisters, Anne Jett, Leora Coleman and Louise Croft; three grandson; one granddaughter; and one great-grandson.

She is survived by sons, Richard (Vivian), Ray, Timothy, and Kevin (Levell) Woodson; daughters, Seffie Strozier, Denise Woodson-Cornett, Rosemary and Myrna Woodson, Theresa (Jerry) Bibbs, and Tamara (Reginald) Glaze; three brothers; two sisters; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Special thanks to those who cared for her throughout her journey at Darlington Nursing and Rehabilitation who became her extended family, Great Lakes Hospice and other caregivers.

Funeral Services are Saturday Nov. 18, 2017,12:00 pm at United Church of God, 701 Phillips Ave. preceded by 11:00 am wake. Visitation is Friday 4-6 pm at The House of Day Funeral Services Chapel.
