Obituary for Betty Jean Long (Anderson)

Betty Jean ( Anderson) Long passed away in her home on FridY, NOVEMBER 10, 2017. She was born to the union of Gordon and Evelyn Anderson on July 1933, one of nine children born to this marriage.

Betty was raised in Toledo, Ohio and attended Toledo Public Schools. She married David Long Sr. on October 23, 1948. She and her husdand bought five children the world. Two of those children, David Jr. and Jacqueline passed away when they were infants. Betty spent a portion of her life staying home and I told her family. She was also employed at Hunt-We Foods, where she retired fromat age 65. During her employment there she made lots o friends and enjoyed attending their "after-pack" parties they had every year. She loved to shop, decorate her home and go to the casino. She was a sharp dresser and was very particular about her appearance. Her fiesty attitude earned her the family nickname " The Queen". She was also known as Maw-Maw to her grand and great-grand children.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents Evelyn and Gordon her husband David Sr, Stepson David Jr, brother Alfred, Paull, Richaed and James anderson. Sisters Jo Williams and Martha Green.

She leave to cherish her memory daughters Davina Moody(R...) Vicki Kyser and Jackie Long. brother gordon Anderson sisters Shirly Bills brother in law gerald Long (M...) daughter in law Joanne Long. Grandchildren Daniel Natanya Tschann Odell David Vittolia Tyrell Alecia.

Cleetessa, Cathy plus a host of great grandchildren nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of Grace Hospice Betty wanted to stay in her home and this would not have been possible Whether their help and patience. My sisters and I really appreciates every family family member and individuaals that took time out of their day to visit and help care for our mom. Thank you..
