Frederick Lee "Bo" Harris Sr., age 65, passed away in his sleep from a short-term illness on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Heartland of Waterville in Waterville, Ohio. He was born March 7, 1952 in Toledo, Ohio to James Sr. and Betty Jo Harris.

Frederick Lee Harris Sr. was employed by Franks Auto Electric. He served as a maintenance and janitorial technician for many years. He loved the outdoors, which led to him accepting many landscaping jobs. Frederick Lee Harris Sr. was affectionately known as "BoBo" because of his bowed legs. His siblings affectionately referred to him as "Freddie". He attended Gunckel and Edward Drummond Libbey High School. Overtime, he became known as "Bo" to family and friends. Bo was known for his love of certain pastimes and hobbies that included shooting pool, dancing, riding his bike, and collecting things. Everything he collected was a treasure to Bo. Bo enjoyed playing and watching basketball. He was an Ohio State and Cleveland Cavaliers fan. Family and friends knew that Bo had an untamable "sweet-tooth", as he enjoyed eating sweet treats. Bo had a keen memory as he loved to reminisce. He had an apt ability to vividly recall past events during conversations with family, friends, and strangers. Nobody was a stranger to Bo.

Bo leaves 5 children to cherish his memory and grandchildren as follows, Daughters: Fawntrella L. (Willis) Thompson (Grandson Zion Asamoah), Carla S. Lyons (Granddaughter Emani Allen) and Franshawn L. Harris (Grandson Antonio Nelson); Sons: Carlos Graves (Grandsons Oshay Graves and Jordan Spearman) and Fredrick Lewis (Grandsons: Da`Quan and Tre`von Lewis; Granddaughters: Ashanti, Coreah, Cierra, and Storm Lewis).He leaves one great-grandson James Clifford Bragg III A.K.A Rocket. Frederick Lee Harris Sr. leaves 4 siblings to cherish his memory, Sisters: Theresa Brown and Darla Harris; Brothers: James Jr. and Eric Harris; and a host of special nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, friends, and a special cousin, Charles Holman.

Bo was one of 8 children born to James and Betty Jo Harris. He is preceded in death by his both parents; Sisters: Gwendolyn and Marquita Harris; Brothers: Rev. Richard O. Brown Jr., Kedron and Russell Harris; Maternal Grandmothers, Ruth Fields, and Frances Christiansen, Paternal Grandfather, Percy Harris; Sons: Eric L. Willis and Master Frederick Lee Harris Jr.; and Grandson James Clifford Bragg II.
