Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of David Boyd can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

David Lee  Boyd Sr.
David Lee Boyd Sr was born on October 20, 1958 Toledo, Ohio to S.T Butler and Mary Boyd. PeeWee accepted Jesus Christ at an early age. During his time of life he was a loving husband and father. PeeWee enjoyed fishing, shooting pool, and cooking his famous dishes (Dressing, sweet potato pies, and his special pasta "nigeroni"). PeeWee loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was a very kind-hearted person, and always willing to lend a helping hand to others if needed. PeeWee had a different nickname for all his children, especially grandchildren, nieces, and nephews as well.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Lotina Saunders, father S.T Butler Jr., brother Willie and Henry Boyd, and sister Cora Scott. He leaves to cherish his life, mother Mary Boyd, wife Michelle Boyd, children Elizabeth (Greg) Buchanan, Dionna (Darell) Hayes, Danetta Watkins, Latoya Boyd, Pastor David (Erin) Boyd Jr., Raymond Boyd, Danielle Boyd, Demetria Boyd, Candice (Jafus ) Henderson, and stepchildren Christina, Chris, and Phillip Henry. PeeWee also has 40 grandchildren and 1 great-grand child.

PeeWee is survived by six brothers Robert Boyd, Michael Boyd, Jimmy (Renee) Boyd, John Boyd, S.T Butler III, Steven (Holli) Butler, three sisters Shirley Glaspie, Elaine (Samuel) Hill, and Deandra Butler; special loving Aunt Ben and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Special thanks to St. Annes Cancer Center of Toledo, Ohio and Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
