Obituary for Joseph Hobbs

Joseph  Hobbs
Joseph Hobbs made his transition from Earth to Heaven on December 29, 2017 at home surrounded by family. He was born in Kruger, Mississippi, to the Union of Johnny Mack and Willa Mae Hobbs Sr. He grew up on Irwin Road, Swanton, Ohio. He was the fourth of 10 children.

Joseph attended Spencer Sharples High School and graduated in 1963. He confessed Christ at an early age. He was a quiet, loving, kind, and giving person. He loved his family.

He was employed by LOF, Rossfoord, Ohio for 33 years. After he retired he went back to work, employed by Farmer Jack and Churchill Market up until his health failed.

Joseph was preceded in death by both parents Johnny Mack and Willa Mae Hobbs, one sister Maxine Ball, one brother Jessie Hobbs. He leaves to cherish his memory, Brothers: Paul (Viola) Hobbs, Silas Hobbs, both of Holland, Ohio, Superintendent Pastor Johnny (Eleanore) Hobbs Jr., of Swanton, Ohio, Lue (Rose) Hobbs of Toledo, Ohio. Sisters: Gloria (Sherman) Powell of Holland, Ohio, Willa (Albert) Tilman of Ypsilanti, Michigan, Gwendolyn Hobbs of Swanton, Ohio. Special Friend Vern Hornbeak, best friends Moe, Dino, and Robbie, along with a host of family and friends.
