Obituary for Emma Lucille Perryman
Emma Lucille Harvey was born to Robert King Harvey and Emma Myrtle Melanie Cummins Harvey in Gordonsville, TN, on July13, 1934. When Emma was a child her family moved to Toledo, OH. Emma received Christ at an early age at Spring Street Baptist Church. She graduated from Woodward High School (Class of 1951). Emma worked as a phone operator for Ohio Bell until 1960.
On April 1, 1956 Emma married Arthur Charles (A.C.) Perryman. She was a devoted wife to A.C. and a loving mother to her children, Brenda, Lori, Linda and Charles. Emma enjoyed reading, cooking and exercising.
Emma transitioned peacefully in her sleep to her heavenly home on Friday, February 16, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband A.C. Perryman, her daughter Brenda Perryman, her granddaughter Adlissie Irving, and her fourteen siblings. She is survived by her children Lori (Lionel) Moore of Toledo, Linda (Mitchell) Irving of Kansas City, KS and Charles (LaShawn) Perryman of Coral Springs, FL, six grandchildren: Mitchell, Seth, Lauren and Brandon Irving, Jesse Perryman and Brandis Williams, and two great grandchildren: Seth Zion Irving and Arrow Amir Perryman, and a host of nieces and nephews.
