Obituary for Olivia Estelle

Olivia was born on July 16, 1930 in Toledo, Ohio and was the second child born to the union of John and Florence Harrison. She was reared in the household along with three step-siblings. Olivia was born into a founding family of First Church of God and humbly began and maintained her walk with Christ in the body of believers. As an usher, she pleasantly and graciously greeted and served the membership. She also sang with the Women's Day Choir and as a youth she played piano at several churches.

Olivia loved and married Robert E. Estelle, who is deceased. Born to their union were three children, Ronald Estelle (deceased), Micheal E. Estelle living in the Philippines and a daughter, Elaine Mitchell who Mother Olivia Estelle's care-giver, supporter and friend.

An industrious person, Olivia was a graduate of Libbey High School and earned an Associate's Degree in Business from Stautzenberger Junior College. She was prepared for and executed a variety of other career options.Among which were driving bus for Head Star, working for the US Post Service, working at Strater Cleaners, being a nurse's aide at Toledo Mental Health Center. In keeping with her concern for those with heath limitations, Olivia was a caregiver for her cousin Evelyn Doneghy and Uncle Charles E. from Oberlin.

Olivia was an avid sports fan that enjoyed watching the Cleveland Indians and Cavaliers teams. She liked to cheer on her favorite golfer, Tiger Woods.

On February 18, 2018, Olivia accepted the Lord's call to glory where she joined her parents, husband, son, brother John Harrison, Jr., half-sister Mae, and beloved son-in-law Alfred Mitchell, Sr. Remaining to cherish her memory is son, Micheal, daughter Elaine, and half sister, 104 year old, Thelma Coogler, grandchildren Afred Mitchell, Jr. (Gwen), Michael Mitchell, Sr. (Sharece), Malita Mitchell, Ronald Estlelle, Jr. (Shawn), Shawn Estelle, Ronald Estelle, Michelle Davidson and Geraldine Crumity. She was loved by 22 great- grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

A special thank you is extended to the Alzheimer Center and Eve Doyle for caring for her until she entered Hospice. TLC Transportation was truly compassionate and patient as they transported her to and from the Day Care Center on Reynolds. Olivia's family thanks ProMedica Hospice, Genesis of Sylvania, the physicians and staff at St. Anne's Hospital for making her last days comfortable. We sincerely appreciate everything that was done for her.
