Obituary for Dolores Kizer (Wise)
Delores Kizer, age 83, departed this life February 24 2018 at St. Vincent Medical Center
.Born March 24 1934 to Augre and Bishop John R. Wise in Washington, PA
She met her husband while on vacation in Charlotte NC and later married James Kizer on March 27 1955 and together they raised 4 children.
She worked in the Toledo School System and at Sears and Roebuck, always wanting to share and give her gift of life with everyone she came into contact with, which is what led her to become a member of the Eastern Star.
She was a faithful servant of St. Marks Baptist church for 53 years, singing in the choir, working on the mother board and touching everyone that came into her life with her act of kindness and love.
She was preceded in death by her parents, older brother John P. Wise, and older sister Maxine Jennings.
She leaves to cherish her memory, husband James N. Kizer; children, Jerome Kizer, Theresa Glaspie, James S. Kizer (Gwen), all of Toledo and Terry Kizer (Tangee) of Charlotte NC, 10 Grandchildren, 11 Great-grandchildren; Sister Juanita Ardery of Charlotte, NC; brothers, James C. Wise (Minnie) of Toledo, Ted Wise (Pat) of Browns Mills, NJ and a host of family and friends.
