Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Walter Day can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: I've known Walter for just under 20 years. With his booming deep voice you didn't have to turn your head to know it was him but always did because you were happy to see him and sometimes even his dog. Later in life I used wait on him at a restaurant I worked at and to this day I still say "how you gonna put cold ketchup on hot food" because I remember always having to get him to go packets of ketchup for his fries lol. My girlfriend and I were planning a trip to Toledo one of the things we wanted to do was see Walter. Now sadly this isn't to be. Prayers to his lovely wife and children some of who I've met as well and to his sidekick Gizmo. Love ya Walter you were a special friend

Condolence: During this season of Easter and beyond, may Jesus our God of comfort and peace hold you all in the palm of His hand as you remember and celebrate Walter's life legacy. He will not be forgotten in the hearts of all who knew him. needhim.org & 4jehovah.org have been a source of hope and inspiration and we thoughtfully share as witnesses for our risen Lord Acts 1:8. 'Precious Lord, take my hand...lead me home'.

Condolence: It’s been a joy to have been friends with Walter since the early sixties, we attended Parkland Junior High School together. So this is hard to hear the lost of Walter. Yet know this there is a wonderful hope in God’s word the Bible that can comfort family and friends .
This is based on the Bible’s promises that one day “death will be no more.” (Rev 21:4 ) It also states, when we die we are in a deep sleep.( Ec 9:5, 10 ) Sin is like a terrible disease that we have inherited from our first parents. Adam and Eve, so all of us are born as sinners, and that is why we die. ( Ro 5:12 ) This was not God’s purpose for humans. God never wanted humans to die, and the Bible calls death an “enemy.” —( 1 Co. 15:26 )
