Paul loved to sing the praises of the Lord, and he also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews.
Paul D. Hicks graduated from Jesup Scott High school, and worked as an independent contractor.
He was preceded in death by his (parents) Alex Hicks, Sr., Eddie Mae Hicks, (wife) Kim Hicks, (brothers) William Elliott (Billy) Hicks, Alex Hicks Jr., David J. Hicks, (sisters) Doris J. He leaves to cherish his memories (sons) Paul Austin, Atreyo Douglas White, (daughter) Asia Payne, and 5 grandchildren; (brothers) Larry Hicks, Pastor Delbert (Cecilia) Hicks; (sisters), Corine McCloud, Ramona Savage, Cindy (John) Hicks-Nobel, Alexis Marie Nicholson, Deborah Pearson, and Geraldine Lyons.
