Paul Douglas  Hicks
Paul D. Hicks was born on June 27, 1963 in Toledo, OH, to the union of Eddie Mae Hicks and Alex Hicks, Sr. He departed this life on May 8, 2018 in the care of Hospice, Flower Hospital.
Paul confessed his allegiance to Christ at an early age at New Home Baptist Church in Toledo, Ohio. He later served in ministry at Mt. Nebo Church, under the leadership of Pastor Cedric Brock. Paul loved to sing the praises of the Lord, and he also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews.
Paul D. Hicks graduated from Jesup Scott High school, and worked as an independent contractor.
He was preceded in death by his (parents) Alex Hicks, Sr., Eddie Mae Hicks, (wife) Kim Hicks, (brothers) William Elliott (Billy) Hicks, Alex Hicks Jr., David J. Hicks, (sisters) Doris J. Jones, Mary Ann Hicks. He leaves to cherish his memories (sons) Paul Austin, Atreyo Douglas White, (daughter) Asia Payne, and 5 grandchildren; (brothers) Larry Hicks, Pastor Delbert (Cecilia) Hicks; (sisters), Corine McCloud, Ramona Savage, Cindy (John) Hicks-Nobel, Alexis Marie Nicholson, Deborah Pearson, and Geraldine Lyons.
