Obituary for Bobbie Jo Phillips (Wynn)

Mrs. Bobbie Jo Philips recieved the breath of life on April 1, 1939 and was presented to the late Hurtis C. Wynn and Mary Anna . (Howell) Wynn in Nashville Arkansas. She entered into eternal life on Monday, May 14, 2018 under the loving care of her daughters and Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was preceded in death by both parents, Three Brothers, Harry, Joe Louis and Levon Wynn, and one sister, Earthanna (Wynn) Johnnson.

In 1953, ther family moved to Toledo where she continued her education and became a graduate of Scott High School. Bobbie began her walk with the Lord after meeting and marrying her husband, the late James Philips, Jr. she became a member of Mt. Pilgrim Church under the pastorate of the late Rev. Samuel M. Coleman. She went on the users board until she became too ill to continue.

Family meant everything to Bobbie and James, especially her children and all if the grand and great grands. Holding large dinners and cook outs for every occasion or just because. Any reason for us all to be together, was reason enough. She Awed us all with her beauty, skills, and talents.

Bobbie, enjoyed cooking and learned many tricks to the trade by working by working at "Par 4" and later for Roscoe's Catering. She also worked as an user at the Masonic Temple and an assembly worker at Owens Illinois. After the plant closed, she became a domestic worker, caring for some very prominent families in the Toledo area. She also loved sewing and bowling.

For the last five years, Bobbie and her family shared a very special relationship with her care giver, trusted friend and Nacole Young.

From her union to James Phillips Jr,. four children were born and special skills and talents were handed down and passed on to Theresa (Marlow) Crowley, George (Betty) Phillips, of Arkansas, Tina (Rodney) Phillips-Gott and Al Phillips. Nine grandchildren and thirty two great grandchildren, special friend Pat Pollard and a host of niecesm nephews and friends.
