Robert Lee "Redman" Dailey, 70, of Toledo Ohio, passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at the Toledo Hospital.

Robert was born March 2,1948, and returned to his eternal home on May 20, 2018, surrounded by family. Robert graduated from Scott High School in 1966, then bravely served in the U.S. Army, 82nd Airborne Division, where he was a decorated soldier earning the Bronze Star Medal with Valor. After completing his years of service, Robert returned to Toledo, where he married and raised three daughters with Dovie Mae Fox.

Robert leaves to cherish his memory daughters Annie (Kamau Njenga) Kamau, Bilquis Africa (Eric) Thomas, Akisha (Michael) McCarter, 8 grandchildren; brother, Alfred Dailey Sr., sisters-in-law Margie Williams, Susie Martin, Louise Fox, and Joann Fox; brothers-in-law, Willie(Linda) Fox, Dennis(Iris) Fox, Henry McCoy, and Craig Dotson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 24, 2018, 7:00-9:00 p.m. at House of Day Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 25, 2018, at 11:00 am, preceded by a 10:00 am Wake, at New Light Missionary Baptist Church, Rev Gerald O. Fletcher; Pastor and Officiant.
