Jesse LaVerne  Jackson Jr.
Jesse L. Jackson was born March 26, 1947 in Springfield, IL. Jesse was lost to us on June 22, 2018.

He was a graduate of Scott High School's class of 1966.
Jesse was one of the first African American journeymen in the city of Toledo.

He is preceded in death by stepfather, Ed Love and brother, Eddie Love.

He is survived by mother, Ceretha Jackson-Love, seven children, Gerald Hutcherson of Rogers, AR, Carmen (Curtis III) Jewell of Toledo, OH, Tracey (Henry) Perry of Elyria, OH, Traci Ben-Gray of Milwaukee, WI, Todd (Malacia) Jackson of Toledo, OH, Jeffrey Jackson of Charlotte, NC and Waverly Jackson of Toledo, OH.
Also survived by five siblings: Alphonso Jackson of Toledo, OH, Gail (Virley) Reed of Ypsilanti, MI, Stephen Jackson of New York, NY, Ronald Jackson of Toledo, OH and Angela (Ray) Freeman of Toledo, OH, 21 grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Family hour will be held on Friday, June 29, 2018, 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm, at The House of Day Funeral Service.
