James Simms, Jr., 74, passed away on August 9, 2018. James was born on September 7, 1943 to James and Lucy Simms.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James Simms, Sr. and Lucy Simms; brothers, Bertrum Brooks (Vanessa Nichols), Dandiyer Simms, and Michael Simms; grandmother, Mary McMillion; aunts, Mary Clark and Bennie Bumper.
James is survivied by wife, Bobby Simms; children, Angelo Simms, Marilyn Rena (Stanley) Hill, Thessa Canty, Lawanna (Royal) Simms, Dwelton Simms, LaTonya Simms, Kamiyah Simms, and Fredrick Simms; 19 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren; and one great grandchild; secon mother, Louie Simms; siblings, Tony (Vickey) Simms, Donald Simms and Janice Rogers; god children Glenda Boon and Delois Gamb.
