Markess Anthony Cunningham, 28, of Toledo, Ohio, died unexpectedly at Toledo Hospital on Saturday, August 25, 2018. He was born March 2, 1990 at St. Vincent Hospital in Toledo, Ohio. He is survived by his loving parents, Mark and Keseera Cunningham Sr.

Markess accepted Christ at an early age; he was a member of his grandfather's Church: United #1 Church of God in Christ. He was a 2009 graduate of Springfield High School (Penta Career Center) where he took up carpentry. He was employed with the family business, Cunningham's Hauling Service, and he was also a General Laborer. Markess's passion was playing the drums. He was the head drummer at his father's church. He played for many churches in the city of Toledo. He also coached for the Mid City Broncos Little League for two years aka "Coach Early"

In addition to his parents, Markess is survived by his wife, Alesha Marie Cunningham; sons, Breyon and Markel Cunningham, Rayan Hubbard, and Isaiah Mathis; daughters, Kelsi Cunningham and Reign Hubbard; sisters, Marquita, Markisha (Sidi). Marklynn, and Markiya Cunningham; brothers, Mark Jr., (Brittny), Markez, and Markai Cunningham; and a host of nieces, nephew and other loving relatives and friends.
