On Sunday, December 23, 2018, Luda Louise Kemp went home to be with the Lord at age 98. She was born on May 24, 1920 in Texarkana, Texas. Louise moved to Toledo, OH with her son James Ellis where she met and married the love of her life, Joseph Calvin Kemp on October 14, 1950. Louise worked at The Lion Store, retiring after 30+ years. She had an amazing voice, as confirmed by the nursing staff at Genacross Lutheran Village. She found Christ at a very early age. Louise was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Kemp and her son Jimmy Ray Ellis. The family would like to acknowledge and thank the special friends who assisted in her care over the years.
Visitation at House of Day Funeral Services on Nebraska Ave in Toledo Ohio at 10 AM and funeral service at 11 AM on Saturday 12/29/18.
