Celeste was dedicated to improving and empowering her community even further by becoming an educator and active philanthropist, going on to establish her own non-profit organization known as Blemished Butterfly Lupus Foundation in 2014. Celeste served her community at health fairs and festivals by spreading awareness and raising funds in support of finding a cure and better treatments for Lupus and Lupus related illnesses. Celeste's upbringing left a positive, long lasting impression on anyone she encountered throughout her personal, academic and occupational environments. To her family she was the most outspoken and supportive daughter, sister, auntie, cousin that you could ask for. She would light up any room with her beautiful smile, greeting people with warm energy and her one of a kind charming personality. She was very light hearted, strong-willed, independent, and optimistic. Celeste loved to be active and outgoing while having a good time. Whether it was her daily ritual of listening to good music, attending concerts of her favorite artists, visiting amusement parks and carnivals with family, going to movie theaters, or just strolling local parks, she made sure she always enjoyed what life had to offer everyday single day. Celeste was loved, cherished and adored by her family, friends and acquaintances she will be greatly missed.
