Obituary for Mae Frances Richardson

Ms. Mae Frances Smith-Richardson was born to the union of Nellie Mae Smith-Brown and James Smith on September 3, 1951 in Carnesville, Georgia. She departed this life on Saturday, October 27, 2018 in Toledo, Ohio.

Once a Bulldog always a Bulldog, Mae attended Jesup W. Scott High School where she started her career at Libbey Owens Ford (L.O.F.) as a Quality Control Inspector for 20 years. Toledo Hospital dietary for 8 years, and a Crossing guard for 10 years. She loved music, and enjoyed cooking for her family. Mae was known for making her delicious Red Velvet Cake, and White Coconut Cake.

Mae was preceded in death by her father, James Smith and sister, Sandra Smith.

She leaves to cherish her memory daughters, Tammi (Arnold) Crawford, Tonia (James) Carter, Tunisia (Chris) Metzger. Sons, Albert (Collette) Richardson Jr., Altonio Richardson (Amy), Alonza Richardson, 20 grandchildren & 17 great-grand kids.

She also leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Nellie Mae Smith-Brown, One brother, Bobby Smith (Deborah), and 4 sisters, Bernice Donley, Barbara Smith, Brenda (Fulton) Kinnebrew, Theresa Woods, and a host of loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
