Obituary for Delois Moore
Mr. Delois Moore, age 79, passed his life to eternal death on Saturday, January 5, 2019. Del was born on November 25, 1939 in Jefferson, AL. to the late Veora (Richardson) Moore and the late Joe Nathan Moore.
He graduated from Green County Training School and attended Texas University. He was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church. Del worked at Roadway Express for over 30 years as a truck driver and dock operator.
During his leisure time Del was an avid bowler, loved fishing, sports, and taking road trips with family and friends.
Del was preceded in death by both of his parents; his daughter, Leslie Nicole; siblings, Wanda Garrett, Morris Lee Moore, Joseph Moore, and Perry Moore.
Left to cherish his memories is his best friend and love of his life, Joyce Ann; son, Robert; daughter, Regina; claimed son, Emmett Richardson; grandchildren Jeremy, Robert Jr., Bethany, NaSheena, Jamiona, Delmond; and his partner in crime, great granddaughter, Ellyza; siblings, Mary Booker, Henry Garrett, Joe Nathan Thomas, Celestine Pittaway, Patricia (Donald), Fannie (Wayne Sr.), Mary (Woodrow), Thelma (Rev. Edward), Joe Nathan Sr. (Shirley), Rev. Forrest (Emma), Anthony (Jackie), Carlos (Tunjie); and a host of cousins, nephew, nieces, family and friends.
