Serena Lynnette Meredith, 65, passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2019 in her home,
She was born on August 29, 1953 to Joseph and Alva Meredith, in Toledo, OH.
She was a proud member of Greater Faith Fellowship Church, under the pastorage of Melvin L. Barnes Sr., where she served on the Hospitality Ministry.
She worked as a Nurse at Arbors of Oregon for many years until her illness. She enjoyed taking care of others, her whole life revolved around what she could do to help someone else. She was devoted to being an amazing Mother, Grandmother and friend.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters Alverta Harris and Tamara Kynard; and the love of her life, Alvin Carr.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her step-mother, Early Bunts; daughters, Dione and Tiffany Meredith; grandchildren, Corey Allison, Tionna Peavy, TyRon Carr, Ky're Allison, Deveney Meredith; one great-grandchild, JayCeon; brothers, Delmer (Donita) Archer, Jerry (Kristy) Meredith. Joseph (Josephine) Meredith, Kenneth Green, Derrick, Lawrence Carr, and James Harris; sisters, Renea and Theresa Green, Selena Bunts, Martha Harris, Particia Ferguson, Brenda Carr, Karen Carr, Denise Carr and Desiree Carr; very special niece, Shirley Jones; special friend, Marcia Moore and a host of other relatives and friends.
