Obituary for Alice Quinn

Alice (Smith) Quinn departed this life on Monday January 7, 2019 at the University of Toledo Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Alice was born on November 1, 1951 to the union of Rufus Lee Smith Jr. and Nellie Mae Smith in Carnesville, GA. Alice along with her family relocated to Toledo, Ohio where she graduated from Jesup W. Scott High School in 1969, she would go on to achieve several other educational degrees and certifications which include a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Toledo, her LPN licensure, as well as two degrees in theology. Having accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at a young age Alice shared the Word of God everywhere she went. Alice was an Evangelist and most recently was appointed Co-Pastor of Bibleway Temple, Toledo Ohio. Alice also became a successful business owner and entrepreneur after retiring from Chrysler Jeep in 2008.
Alice is lovingly survived by her husband of 42 years Joseph J. Quinn, four children; sons James (Yvette-Day) Lloyd, Shawn (Shontae) Lloyd, and Jeremy J. Quinn; daughter Tanika “Nikki” Lloyd all of Toledo, Ohio. She also leaves 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren and a host of loving family and friends.
