Obituary for Keith McDonald
Mr. Keith McDonald ,62, of Toledo, Ohio passed this earthly life, at the appointed hour of 10:05am, Saturday, February 9th, 2019 with the Lord and Savior as his witness, at Hospice of Northwest Toledo with family and friends.
Keith was born November 8th, 1956 in Toledo, Ohio, to the union of Lawrence McDonald and Lillie McDonald. He was preceded I death by both parents and brothers Lawrence McDonald Jr, Oscar McDonald, Ronald McDonald and wife Vanessa Weatherly.
He professed his hope in Christ. He was a Deacon at his church. In 1976 he graduated Calvin M. Woodward High School. While still in school he began working for Jeep Corp as an assembly worker. After 30 years of service he retired.
Keith enjoyed cooking food for his family and friends and gilling on holidays. He looked forward to planting his garden every year. But he really loved fishing and did so every chance he could. Keith enjoyed helping others and touched the lives of many people with his smile and generosity. Keith always maintained his trademark sense of humor no matter what. He was kind, soft-spoken and always had time to help others.
He leaves to cherish in his memory his daughter Lakesha McDonald, stepsons Robert and Randy Clark, granddaughters Ke'Naisha and Na'Tasia Merriweather, sisters Gwen Fisher and Laquell McDonald, great granddaughters Nayomi Scott, Nakotah Cummingham, Rhianna Clark and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Keith will forever be remembered by his devoted family and countless friends who were all blessed to have known him. He will be dearly missed by his loved ones, who will celebrate the fact that he is at peace with his creator.
