Obituary for Steven Dewayne Brown
Steve “Little” Brown passed away February 21, 2019, at UT Medical Center.
Steve was born in Detroit, Michigan but returned to Toledo, Ohio. He attended East Side Central and Waite High School. Steve was preceded in death by his Brother Jontae Chatman, Aunt Loretta Lynn Kenney, and Grandfather James Brownlee.
Steve worked as a production operator at Johnston Controls. He loved to rap, dance and was always the life of the party. He could make us laugh and uplift our spirits through some of our toughest moments.
Steve leaves to cherish his Parents; Lacola Brown (Brian McCoy), Steven Brownlee (Precious). Children; Deangelo and DeMari Brown, Grandparents; Willie Brown (Gigi), Carla Steelman and Beverly Johnson. Great Grandparents; Elizabeth Johnson and Malinda Brownlee. Sisters; Shonta Jones, Shantel McCoy, and Kionshae Chatman. Brothers; Andrew Brownlee, Andre Anderson, Dontae Chatman, Diontae Darrington and James Lane. Aunts; Stephanie Swan, Robin Brown, Jyton Brown, and Deanna Smith. Uncles; Darrick Davis, Larry Hicks and Ronald Brown. Immediate Cousins; Lakeesha Sims (Darren), Errol Echols, Lamar Kenney, Thomas White, Rodney Primas, Quentin Kenney, Antonae Pressley, Maryasha Davis and William Jones, Jonathan Young, A'moni Brown, Allen Sydnor and a host of loving relatives and friends.
