Brenda L. Stephens "Nana", was born February 9, 1942 in Bowling Green, Kentucky to James Nolan Finn and Sula De (Burnam) Rice. Brenda transitioned her life on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Merit House Senior Community of Toledo, Ohio.
Brenda was a graduate of Whitney High School. She graduated from The University of Toledo with an associates degree in Business. She was a retiree from the City of Toledo in Administration with Fire and Rescue.
She enjoyed family gatherings and listening to music. She was passionate about holidays; Christmas was one of her favorites. Brenda's love was unconditional for her family and friends and she would give you her last. "Nana" spoke her mind without hesitation. Brenda was also a member of Indiana Avenue Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. John Roberts.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents and sons, Stewart K. Armstrong and Michael B. Palmer.
She leaves to Cherish her memories, daughter, Christie A. Armstrong; grandchildren, Erin Landry, Stewart, William, Autumn, Ashley, Chauncy Armstrong, Caitlin (Jacob) Moos, Nick Armstrong, Dasia (Brittany) Daniel, Chandra Armstrong, Daysha Wolff, Keichan Armstrong, and Michael Palmer II; 11 great grandchildren; brother, John R. Finn; and a host of family and friends.
