Shywoun Marquis Lanier was born on March 28, 1997, to Myron Lanier Sr. and Samantha Simpson. He passed away on May 26, 2019 at Toledo Hospital. He last worked at Chrsyler Automotive as a Quality Inspector; he loved his job!
Shywoun gave his life to Christ at a young age. He loved to sing, dance and be outside around people. He truly was a people's person. He enjoyed smiling and laughing. Shywoun also loved to eat. His favorite foods were pizza, barbecue ribs, hot dogs and baked beans. More than food, Shywon loved having his friends and family near. He was a father and he was so excited to have another child, Shywoun Jr., on the way.
Preceding him in death are his great-grandparents, Catherine and Julius Walker; great-aunt, Willoden Hamilton-Simpson; uncle, Hilary Lanier; two cousins, Brittany Carson and Richard Villolovos.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving mother, Samantha Simpson; loving father, Myron Lanier Sr.; to children, Dashayla Kimble-Lanier and his unborn born son, Shywoun Lanier Jr.; two brothers, Myron Lanier Jr. and Jaden Owens; three sisters, Denasia Royal, Mariah and Mytia Lanier; uncles, Kazedore and Marcus Lanier, Tommy (Tina) Butts, and Demetrius Simpson; aunts, Theresa Simpson and Alexis Lanier, along with a host of other family members and friends.
