Obituary for Cheryl Lynn Grant
Cheryl Lynn Grant was born in Toledo, Ohio on October 7, 1953, to John and Francis Grant. She was called home on June 2, 2019.
Cheryl attended Libby High School where she graduated in 1971. Cheryl was a member of the Student Government and the Periclean Service Society. She sang in the school choir. She was Senior Class Vice President. She was a cheerleader and was 1st Runner-up Homecoming Queen 1970-1971. Cheryl loved being a Libby Cowgirl. Her classmates will always remember her for her loving spirit and amazing smile. Cheryl also attended Toledo University Upward Bound Program for three years during high school. She also attended BGSU.
Cheryl had a strong belief in God. She worked numerous jobs, but working with children is what she loved. Cheryl loved to spend time with her grandchildren. One thing that will always be remembered by everyone is her Mega Watt Smile. Everyone was her "BABE".
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Francis Grant.
Cheryl Lynn Grant will truly be missed by her sons, Jamal (Keesha) Grant, Tony (Jacq) Scruggs; her grandchildren, Miyah Grant, Akeila Stokley, Jaylen Scruggs, Jameisha Grant, Zayden Scruggs, and Zanai Scruggs; special friends, Cynthia Allen, Deborah King, Jett McGinnister, and Marian Pearce; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving relatives and friends.
