June 4, 1958 in Toledo, Ohio to Alex S. and Ruby Walker. He married Patricia Mason and they became one in 1991.
Carvel attended Libbey High School. He began his construction trade at age of 14 years alongside his Dad. The trades he excelled in were as a sewer contractor, construction, carpentry and concrete work. Carvel was hired by Jerry Ewing, owner of E&K Contractors' at the age of 19. He shared his knowledge with his nephews and friends. His motto was "Hard work never hurt anyone".
He had a great sense of humor and told the best jokes. He had a great passion in everything he achieved in life. Carvel loved life and most his family. Carvel's final act of love for other's was to give The Gift of Life through organ, eye and tissue donations. Most importantly he loved The Lord.
He was preceded in death by father, Alex S. Walker, son Craig Alexander Walker, brother Alex S. Walker, Jr. (Turkeybird), sisters Sherry Kight and Dorothy Burton.
Carvel leaves to cherish his memories, Mother Ruby Walker, son Carvel Gordon, granddaughter Carolina Gaither, brother Michael Walker, sisters Vanessa Walker, Michelle (Errick) Bouyer, loving wife Patricia Walker and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and kind friends.
